I originally created this stained glass sculpture of dragonfly mates after meeting an old gentleman looking for the perfect gift for his wife of 50 years. This beautiful pair of mated dragonflies hovering over a pond, the symbol of eternity, is the perfect gift for your loved one any time of year! A reminder of love, hope and change, a life-mated pair of dragonflies symbolizes love and maturity. I can make the piece in the colours pictured, or in your sweet heart’s favorite colours, custom designed especially for you.

Materials & Dimensions

I make this dragonfly mates piece using the copper foil method, silver coated copper wire, silver solder and stained glass. For your safety, no lead is used . This piece measures 7″ across from tail to tail, approximately, and 6 1/2 inches from the top of the circle to the bottom.

The piece can be customized, using different colours of glass or a different size.
