I originally hand crafted this little stained glass gecko from stained glass and wire to keep my keys in one spot, since I’m forever losing them. He’s so funny and funky, that I do actually remember to put my keys on his toes. Each of my lizards is crafted by hand, and is a one of a kind unique piece of art.
Then, a new customer decided that this cute stained glass gecko could be used as a necklace and ear ring holder, or a cup keeper. If Blueberry (the little glass fellow in the picture) is hung sideways from two nails, my customer told me she could hang 20 pair of earrings and necklaces from this fellow’s larger cousin ‘s flexible legs arms and toes. Little Blueberry’s arms and legs and tail are bendable and repositionable. The tail spreads apart so that two levels are available for your jewelry.
Hung upside down from a hook by the tip of his tail, his arms will hold many sets of keys.
Little Blueberry the stained glass gecko is about 10 inches long from head to tail, and about 5 inches wide from toe to toe, although that changes every time you bend his legs and tail.
If you prefer to just use it as a decoration, this little gecko will also cling to a branch, wire or wooden fence or sit in a pot in your garden. He is rust and tarnish proof since I only use unleaded solder and came. Bring him inside in the winter.
This fellow ships safely packed and insured.
