Sailboat stained Glass Model OOAK 3 D Yacht with Streaky White specialty Glass Sails

This lovely boat is a specially designed yacht. The completed boat stands 18 inches tall, and 11 inches long by 5 inches wide. It has rope coils and ties on cabin and front mast, a tiny handmade anchor and helm, all twisted and soldered out of copper wire. I used a special baroque glass for the sails, and the rudder can be made from golden glass, in the newer design.

*Please note, this boat with the blue keel is now available for purchase. It can be shipped immediately, and will arrive in the US or Canada 5 to 6 days after purchase. The boat with the amber keel can be built instead and will be available for shipping in 2 to 3 weeks.

To craft this boat, I used the tiffany or copper foil method of stained glass, and three dimensional techniques. I hand cut the glass for this boat from white streaky stained glass for the sails, warm wood coloured glass for the deck and opaque white glass for the cabins, deck fittings and hull. I built the details out of copper wire hand coated with silver solder, and then bent and soldered each piece of wire into rails, helm, anchor, winch.

Altogether, this lovely boat is a work of art, handcrafted specially for the person you know that loves and admires sailing, sailboats, or the sailing lifestyle.

Normally, this boat is built when you order it, so there will be a delay in shipping. It could take a month to 6 weeks, but sometimes its possible to build it in less time during slow season. It can be built any colour you like, including white, red, green, and baby blue, my standard colours now.
