I handmade this beautiful spring green stained glass art disc with a lovely tree of life in silver coated copper wire that I have twisted, wrapped and soldered onto the stained glass. I love trees, and this one is made with the mystery and slow growing nature of trees emphasized by the copper patina finish. I work on the tree until the branches are just right. As each branch is placed the position of the next comes clear to me. Once I have finished one side, I bring the other side to life, with a completely different tree so that the two blend when the piece is backlit, and a three dimensional illusion is produced.
This striking one of a kind piece measures 4 ” across.
Finish
*The copper patina finish is difficult to apply and unpredictable, and takes considerably longer to apply, so may vary from the picture. For an equally beautiful option try the copper patina, or even the natural silver.
*Each piece is made to order, a unique piece of art, so may be slightly different from its picture. The tree of life comes in ruby red, and cobalt blue as well. The green will be shipped if the blue or red is not requested in a convo.
Shipping
*Each piece is made as it is ordered, so the tree may take 3 days to 3 weeks to build, depending on what else is on order. Please let me know if this is a gift, and you need it sooner. I can upgrade shipping, or build it faster for you. We ship standard, which is international small package, 6 to 10 days, but without tracking, as that is no longer included in the economy shipping options.
