I hand cut a beautiful peacock blue stained glass art disc for a lovely tree of life in silver coated copper wire that I have twisted, wrapped and soldered onto the stained glass. This one of a kind piece is double sided, the tree is sculpted on both sides of the glass, so there are really three pieces of art in one. There is a different tree on each side of the glass, and when seen backlit by the sun, the branches and tree trunks show through each side as shadows that give a three dimensional affect. I love building this piece. It is full of mystery, and surprising light. This piece is gorgeous hanging in a window with the light glowing through it or hung on a lamp with a white shade. It makes a wonderful meditation piece or energy renewal.

Dimensions and Construction:
The disc measures 4″ across including the frame. I used a beautiful peacock blue streaky glass evocative of meadows and forests, rich colour found here on the west coast in the early evening. The copper wire branches are twisty and textured, lots of detail that is best viewed in person. The tree trunk and roots are made of copper foil that I have carefully hand carved and sculpted with solder into the shape of twisty roots. There is a different tree on each side of the glass. This tree has been framed using chain to accent the beautiful twisty flowing branches.

*Please note that glass is like cloth dye lots so each piece will be slightly different.

Custom Order:
This tree can be customized for an additional charge as a family tree for Mother’s day, or as a special gift with the different colours of crystal, or beads, attached to the branches of the tree to represent each family member. Please contact me to have the tree personalized.

*Each piece is individually made, and can take from 3 days to 3 weeks to build, so there can be a delay in shipping. Please let me know if it is a gift and needs an upgrade in shipping.
