Description

This glorious, mysterious tree of life stained glass panel measures 14″ across. I used iridescent silvery glass for the moons, and antiqued using copper patina, to give the metal branches of the tree a lifelike appearance. The overlayed branches are twisty and textured, lots of detail that is best viewed in person.

I have used the copper foil method, and lead free silver solder. It comes with the hanging hardware, and a chain.

This piece is gorgeous hanging in a window with the light shining behind it. My camera does not capture the details of the wispy night sky in the midnight blue glass, or the hightlights on the branches.

I can also make this piece using a lovely coppery irridescent glass for the center moon as a harvest moon. Choice of framing materials are copper, brass or lead came.
