I made this one of a kind red stained glass tree of life piece with two unique trees, one on each side of the red orange stained glass suncatcher. The tree branches built of silver solder coated copper wire, are sculpted on both sides of the glass, so there are really three pieces of art in one.

There is a different tree on each side of the glass, and when seen backlit by the sun, the branches and tree trunks show through as shadows that give a three dimensional affect. I love building this piece. It glows with amazing warm surprising light. I used a beautiful red and orange streaky glass for a sunset sky, rich colour found here on the west coast in the early evening as a forewarning of a spectacular day of sun and wind. The silver and copper branches are twisty and textured, lots of detail that is best viewed in person.

Dimensions:

The disc measures 6″ across including the frame. I have used the copper foil method, and lead free silver solder.

This piece is gorgeous hanging in a window with the light shining behind it.
